Zambia's pastors are struggling to provide for their families!

Can you help?

Peter Chipisha knew God had called him to full-time, pastoral ministry. He loved serving his congregation on Mbabala Island, Zambia, teaching God’s Word, and helping others grow in their faith.

Unfortunately, the church had no money to pay Pastor Peter for his efforts.

Wouldn’t it be great to help faithful pastors like Peter find a sustainable way to support their families and serve their church families?

Unlike in America, where many church members have jobs and can fund the tireless work of pastors and church staff, in the rural, impoverished communities where we work, many pastors must work two full-time jobs in order to fulfill their ministry callings.

That’s where pigs come in!!

In Zambia, Bright Hope works with the Christian Farmer’s Association (CFA) to provide agricultural loans to men and women so they can build sustainable, profitable businesses.

Through a CFA loan, Pastor Peter received nine pigs and built a thriving small business. Now, he can meet his family’s needs and fulfill his calling as a pastor.

We would love to provide more opportunities like this to people like Pastor Peter. And we need your help!

Please consider giving $25, $50, or more to provide hard-working women and men with the chance to grow sustainable agricultural businesses and break out of the poverty cycle for good!

Pastor Peter shared: “By God’s providence, CFA empowered me with pig farming. I have diligently tended these animals and I’m doing great now. Praise be to God!”

Your sacrificial gift will go directly to the most urgent need among all our programs. Right now, supporting small, sustainable businesses in Zambia is our priority! If this project receives enough funding, additional gifts will support other strategic needs.
