WHAT IS THE ROAD MAP JOURNEY?

Bright Hope’s Road Map journey is not just a giving plan. It is a partnership and a promise of personal engagement, blessing and celebration.

 

The Road Map journey is also a process by which an agreement (non-binding of course) is made between an Ally and Bright Hope. For a minimum contribution of $5000 a year, a Relationship Coordinator will work with you to plan the types and frequency of information and communication you need to understand the blessings your contributions are making, allowing you to feel joy and see the reality of your impact on the poor.

TYPES OF ROAD MAP

RADIANT

Road Maps are 3 Years 

Typically, our Road Maps are three-year agreements. This gives you plenty of time to build relationships with our country staff and church partners. Most Road Maps have a trip to the field scheduled for year two or three. This is so you can walk the village or slum and actually meet the people whose lives you are impacting. While trips are not required, they are highly encouraged.

MINI

Road Maps are 1 Years 

Mini Road Maps are one-year agreements. Not everyone feels they can make a commitment for three years. The Mini is a great opportunity to still have some of the closeness and impact-thrill, without going to the field or making agreements you don’t think will be possible to fulfill.

VOYAGER

Road Maps are Ongoing

Allies who commit to longer-term agreements value making an impact over an extended period of time. The length of this map takes some of the priority off of making short, small changes and instead focuses on the long-term life change we all desire. Typically, these are our most involved and engaged Allies.

Bright Hope is focused on helping people break out of extreme poverty. We are committed to a caring, compassionate plan of action that brings Hope, change and salvation to the poorest people on earth. By engaging and involving the in-country church, we provide Hope for Today, Hope for Tomorrow and Hope for Eternity to those living in city slums and remote villages.

The Road Map journey is designed to provide you with a deeply relational opportunity to be part of bringing Hope to people imprisoned in hopelessness, isolation and extreme poverty. As an Ally in this life-impacting ministry, you will touch lives, both now and forever, and in the process, you will be changed and filled with great joy and satisfaction. 

 

Our Allies have many deep questions about helping the extreme poor.

  • Are my financial gifts really making a difference to those in need? 
  • How can I be sure the organization is trustworthy?

 

The Road Map journey gets to the heart of these questions and puts you on a path of creating new relationships, learning about best practices, understanding holistic ministry to the poor, and joyfully celebrating the eternal impact you are making.
