Few Christians question the power of prayer. We see it displayed every day in the slums and villages where we work. The Bright Hope Prayer Wall and Text Team are designed to help you pray for the extreme poor, for those who live on less than $2.00 a day. Very few of us know anyone that poor, but God knows their names, and we think you should too. So, here how it works: 

• Between the 1st and 10th of the month we will text you with ONE prayer request. Short, simple, with a link to our prayer wall page where you can get more details and read other prayer requests, if you like.
• Between the 15th and 25th of the month we will text you ONE answered prayer... so we can celebrate God’s hand moving in the lives of the poor. There will be a link to view other answers to prayer.
• Once every 3 months we include a link to our newsletter.
• You can stop the texts coming at any time by replying with the word “STOP.”

Why texting and not email? Because prayer requests can often be urgent, timely and easily lifted up to God at a moment’s notice. Prayer is the greatest wireless connection there is, and often the need is so great that there isn’t time to wait for you to open an email, or chance it getting left in your spam folder.
