Dear Allies,
The Gospels tell the stirring story of Jesus’ thirty-three years on Earth. During that time, as He went about His father’s work, Jesus performed miracles and met the needs of the people in a way that was tangible. He fed the hungry, comforted the brokenhearted and healed the blind. There was a physical aspect to Jesus’ life and ministry. Likewise, our ministry to the poor should also include a physical aspect, or as I like to say, some of our ministry needs to be concrete.
When we are confronted with the needs of the extreme poor, we are called to respond and to meet the need as Jesus did. As servants of Christ, we want to help and to make an impact on those living in poverty. Yet it can be confusing to determine how to best give our time and resources and where our money can help the most.
Bright Hope has been meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those living in abject poverty for 50 years. Our updated catalog is a trustworthy source that provides a variety of ways for you to get involved in meeting the tangible needs of those who need it the most. Pick a project that stirs your heart, or choose from the general Most Urgent Needs option – wherever you chose to give, you can be confident that your money is going to help those who need it most.
I invite you to stop by anytime and to make a donation to help meet the tangible, physical, concrete needs of those living on less than $2 a day.
Serving together,

Isaiah 58:10
Feed the hungry! Help those in trouble! Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you shall be as bright as day.
P.S. Help us share the joy! Pass this Bright Hope catalog on to a friend or family member by simply referring them to www.soh.gifts. It would be such an honor to have even more Allies joining in the transformation that occurs when we give Hope.
