Give 10 Chickens & Join the Flock of World Changers!

What’s better than helping one family by gifting them a flock of chickens? How about giving two flocks of 10 chickens to TWO families?

On Giving Tuesday, your donation will be matched up to $10,000, so you can share a flock of chickens with TWO impoverished families instead of just one!

Raising chickens can significantly impact a family’s ability to be independent and self-sustainable. When you give a chicken to an impoverished family, they also receive training in how to care for it. In time, the chicken will begin laying eggs, providing a great source of nutrition and income for a family. Also, chickens can be used as food or sold when raised to maturity. With that extra income, parents can pay for school fees, medical care, clothing and many other necessities that dramatically improve one’s standard of living.

As with all our animals, when the chickens begin to reproduce, Bright Hope gives adorable baby chicks to another family, who in turn gives one to another family, and so on! The impact you make when you give a chicken is ongoing and has the potential to help countless families follow the path out of extreme poverty.

Chickens Gave Harriet Hope

These feathered friends can provide an impoverished family with a steady source of eggs, nutrition, income and a path out of extreme poverty.

That’s what they did for Harriet, a grandmother in Uganda who struggled to raise her orphaned grandchildren. With just five chickens and the many eggs and chicks they produced, she increased her income, paid for their education and medical care, fed them healthy meals and gave them hope for the future.

On December 3, your gift of $50 will be doubled and you will share a flock of 10 chickens with one TWO families and change their lives forever!

Join the flock of world changers. Double Your Impact on Giving Tuesday!
